My first DSLR was a Canon XSI. It came with a standard 18-55mm lens. I also purchased a Canon 75-300mm lens because it was the best bang for my buck. I really enjoyed my Canon, but it was less expensive to upgrade to a Nikon. Here are some pictures I took with my Canon. I didn't have much experience with a camera, other than a simple point and shoot. Thankfully my closest friend agreed to be my guinea pig. The bonus was the time I got to spend with her.
